Live Seminar - IRAs, LLCs and Private Placements

This seminar is geared towards the individual who is considering using an IRA to invest in an LLC, LLP, Trust, or other private placement. The first portion of the seminar will focus on the basics of IRAs and more specifically on how the investment options for a self-directed IRA differ from more conventional IRAs held at brokerage firms and banks.

For the second half of the seminar, we will address private placements in particular as investment options. Many individuals want to invest their IRA into a trust, LLC or other type of entity, but don't know how those entities are structured and the rules that they must be aware of. We will cover several types of entities, and also discuss prohibited transactions, disqualified persons, and also Unrelated Business Income Tax.
