The benefits of client referral are twofold:

- Your friends can open their account for free (waiving the usual $50 establishment fee).
- Your account receives a $50 credit for each friend who funds their account.

You can receive up to $500 in referral credits per year, meaning many Entrust clients could **completely offset** their annual recordkeeping fees.

In this article, we’ll provide step-by-step instructions for referring a friend to Entrust and earning your $50 credit:

1. **Generate and Copy the Referral Link**: After [logging in](https://login.theentrustgroup.com/login) to the Entrust Client Portal, scroll down to the "Quick Links" box. Click on "Refer a Friend." A unique referral link will be generated. Click the button to highlight the link, then right-click and select "Copy."
2. **Share the Referral Link**: Send the copied link to the friend you are referring. Your friend will use this link to open a new account with Entrust.
3. **Friend Opens and Funds Account**: Your friend must open and fund their new account using the referral link. The $50 account establishment fee will be waived for your friend.

**Verification and Credit**: Entrust manually verifies referrals once a week. Once your friend's account is funded and verified, a $50 credit will be added to your account.
