Glen Mather of Entrust Recognized as Wheelchair Angel of 2008

The Entrust Group today announced that Glen Mather of Entrust Administration Inc. of Orlando and Entrust IRA Services, Inc. of Chicago was recognized as a “Wheelchair Angel” for 2008 as nominated by The Wheelchair Foundation.

Mr Mather was one of the top referral sources, fundraisers and donators to The Wheelchair Foundation during this past year.

The Wheelchair Foundation is a nonprofit organization that is leading an international effort to create awareness of the needs of people with physical disabilities, to promote the joy of giving, create global friendship, and to deliver a wheelchair to every child, teen and adult in the world who needs one but cannot afford one.

Since June of 2000, the Wheelchair Foundation has delivered over 700,000 wheelchairs to children, teens and adults in 152 countries around the world. The program of delivering wheelchairs to developing countries has been accomplished in part by volume purchasing from competitive manufacturers at a rate of up to 10,000 wheelchairs per month. Despite rising costs of transportation and other expenses, The Wheelchair Foundation has worked to keep the donation amount needed to sponsor a wheelchair constant over the past seven years.
