Correct a Returned Application
Correct a returned application and resubmit it through the Portal.
If your Entrust account application is returned after review, it means we need you to correct or provide additional information before we can finish processing it.
In this article, we’ll provide step-by-step instructions for reviewing a returned application, making the requested corrections, and resubmitting it through the Entrust Client Portal:
- Open Your Returned Application: After logging in to the Entrust Client Portal, you’ll see a notification that your application has been returned and may need updates. Click the application link to view the details and required next steps.
- Review the Reason for the Return: At the top of your application, you’ll see information explaining what needs to be corrected or provided. For example, you may be asked to correct information such as your date of birth or provide additional documentation for address verification.
- Make the Requested Corrections: Navigate to the applicable section of your application and update any information identified in the return notice.
- Upload Any Requested Documents: If additional documentation is required, such as a utility bill or bank statement, upload the requested file in the appropriate section of your application.
- Review and Resubmit Your Application: Continue through the application, review your information, agree to the required acknowledgments, and click Submit to send the corrected application back to Entrust for review.
You’ll also receive an email notifying you that your application has been returned. You can use the link in that email to access your application, although you’ll need to log in to the Entrust Client Portal before making your corrections.
Once your corrections have been submitted, your application will return to our team for review. Applications are currently reviewed within approximately 1–2 business days.
