How to Generate an Account Statement
As with any financial account, regularly checking in on your self-directed IRA (SDIRA) is essential.
By reviewing your account statement, you can monitor how your assets are performing and make informed decisions about potential adjustments to your portfolio.
It also helps ensure that all transactions, contributions, distributions, and fees are accurately recorded. If any discrepancies or errors are found, they can be addressed promptly to avoid potential financial issues down the line.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to generate and download an account statement using the Entrust Client Portal.
- Log In and Access Your Account: After logging in to the Entrust Client Portal, navigate to the Dashboard and scroll down to the box displaying your account number.
- Generate Your Account Statement: Click on the "Statements" link within the account number box. Enter the date range for the statement you want to generate. Click "Generate." The account statement will be downloaded to your computer and can be found in your Downloads folder.
- Review Your Account Statement: Open the downloaded statement to review your account details.
- In the upper left corner of the statement, you will find your basic account information. The statement will display contributions and distributions for both the previous and current tax years.
- Continue scrolling down to view the Asset Summary, which breaks down what’s currently in your account, including assets and undirected cash.
- Further down, you’ll see a list of all transactions that occurred within the specified date range.
By following these steps, you can easily generate and review your account statement in the Entrust Client Portal.
